Private equity firms are bidding on, and acquiring, failed banks and the momentum for such deals appears to be gaining traction. But is it sustainable? Get the answer during our web seminar, "Opening the Door? Examining the FDIC's New Policies on Private Equity Investments in Banking"..
This survey of the industry and deal making
landscape seeks to answer this broad question from three key
perspectives: banking, private equity investment, and regulatory.
Hear
from our expert panelists, Wilbur Ross, Chairman & CEO, INVESCO's WL Ross & Co., William Stern, Partner, Business Law Department, Goodwin Procter, Charles Wendel, President, Financial Institutions Consulting, Inc. and moderator Tom Granahan, Editor, Investment Dealer's Digest.
Questions the panel will address include:
- Why are some banks motivated sellers in this environment?
- Is there a role for PE to play with healthy banks?
- Why is this an attractive investment area for private equity firms?
- How will the FDIC's final rules likely play out?
As a participant, you're invited to pose
questions to the panel during this live discussion. Participants can
also send questions to the panel in advance.
